Postpartum and Parent Coaching

for Families in Austin and Beyond

You're not broken. You're not failing. You're transforming.

And that transformation? It's one of the most challenging things you'll ever do.

Imagine having a coach by your side who truly gets it—someone in your corner offering evidence-based guidance and unwavering compassion as you navigate the beautiful, messy, wild ride of being and becoming a parent. No more drowning in conflicting advice. No more midnight spirals questioning every single decision. No more feeling like everyone else has this figured out except you.

Here's the truth: Confident parenting isn't about perfection.

I know because I’ve been there. I’ve questioned every choice I had to make, felt like I made the wrong decision every time, and ultimately blamed myself for failing my kiddos. (Spoiler alert: it wasn’t my fault.)

Whether you're struggling with your new identity as a mom or trying to balance multiple children while keeping your sanity, I’m a fellow parent who’s been there in the trenches too and can help you reduce the perpetual overwhelm.

If you’re struggling with your relationship with your partner during this transition or facing the emotional minefield of returning to work, I'll help you move from surviving to thriving. Because you deserve more than just getting through each day—you deserve to feel empowered, confident, and genuinely joyful about parenthood and the parent you're becoming.

Ready to stop questioning yourself and start trusting your instincts?

Why Trust Me With Your Journey?

I’m a Certified Perinatal Behavioral Health Coach, certified postpartum doula, and lactation consultant (IBCLC) who's walked this path personally—three times. I've helped thousands of families navigate early parenthood, but more important, I've been the mom crying at preschool drop-off because I missed the memo about my kid’s field trip when I was living in a sleep-deprived baby haze after having our secondborn.

I get it because I've lived it. My personal mix of lived experience, clinical practice, and knowledge of the most up-to-date research means I can give you evidence-based strategies that actually work in real life (and don’t just sound good in a fancy parenting book). Together we’ll come up with concrete strategies that work for your brain and your family, to help you tap into your parenting intuition and finally shake off some of the overwhelm of these challenging early days of parenthood.

I’ve walked through this transition, three times, in fact. I understand the overwhelming array of emotions of early motherhood, the perpetual messaging that you’re doing something wrong, and the juggling act of navigating a new identity while raising a beautiful tiny new human. I’d be honored to walk this familiar path with you.

We'll Work Together On:

Partner Relationships

  • Stop having the same fight about bedtime routines every night

  • Actually talk about something other than logistics or the kid(s) in your 10 minutes together

  • Handle it when your partner says "just tell me what you need" but you're too exhausted to even know, much less explain it in coherent English

  • Find ways to spend time together as a couple, not just co-parents

Household Management

  • End the silent resentment when you're doing bedtime solo while they load the dishwasher

  • Stop being the only one who remembers appointments, permission slips, and when you're out of diapers

  • Create mornings that don't require you to be a drill sergeant by 7 AM

Sibling Dynamics

  • Handle your 3-year-old asking "When can we send the baby back?" without crying or yelling

  • Find 15 minutes of one-on-one time that doesn't involve bribing with screen time

  • Stop feeling like you're failing everyone when someone is always crying (including you)

Your Identity in It All

  • Remember who you were before "Mom of [number]"

  • Ask for help without feeling like you're admitting defeat

  • Maintain friendships and spend time on your passions when you can't even wash your hair regularly

Investment: $1200

  • Begin working with me during pregnancy or postpartum. Families expecting their second or third child are strongly recommended to begin their coaching work during pregnancy to help prepare the future older sibling for their important new role in the family!

  • Weekly for the first four weeks, biweekly for the last four weeks

  • Unlimited support via private chat and voice memos for 8 weeks

  • Tailored to your specific challenges. My brain is a treasure trove of parenting resources, and I’ll freely share all of them with you!

What’s included:

“Heather is extremely poised and professional to work with. It’s clear immediately upon speaking with her that not only does she have a great deal of knowledge, but she stays up-to-speed on all current lactation information. I appreciate her continued education as new information and best practices change with time. Heather is someone I feel like I can trust.”

-Sarah N.

A little more about me:

A board-certified lactation consultant since 2020, specialist in perinatal mental health and neurodivergence, international professional speaker, and entrepreneur, I have over a decade of experience in supporting new and growing families. I’m also a mom who has survived potty training three children, homeschooling during the pandemic, and completing a dissertation while caring for a newborn (not sure which of these was the most challenging).

But what I’m most proud of? Figuring out that it’s okay to let go of external expectations and trust my own instincts as a mama…and helping other parents discover the same.
